Poor Feeding

Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.

FREE FOOD DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM :
Poverty remains a significant challenge despite overall economic development. According to the World Bank, extreme poverty decreased by 12.3% from 22% between 2011 and 2019. Poverty is defined as the condition of lacking sufficient material possessions or income to meet a person’s basic needs. Absolute poverty refers to the total absence of resources needed to fulfill basic personal requirements like food, clothing, and shelter.

Emperor Ashoka Charitable Trust (EACT) conducts free food distribution program on a daily basis. We believe that access to nutritious food is a basic human right , and we are committed to addressing food insecurity in our community.

FREE FOOD PROGRAMME
EACT has established a program that aims to provide free meals to150 people every day. This initiative is targeted towards individuals and families who are facing financial hardships and are unable to afford regular meals. It is a small initiative to alleviate hunger and ensure that everyone in our community has access to nutritious food.

To ensure the sustainability of our program, we actively seek partnerships and donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations who share our vision. Their generous contributions enable us to continue providing free meals to those in need and expand our reach to more individuals who require assistance. We encourage the general public to celebrate their special days by donating Rs.5,000/- for a day for this “FREE FOOD PROGRAMME”.

We are proud to share that our free food distribution program has already made a significant impact in our community. We have received positive feedback from beneficiaries who have expressed their gratitude for the support they have received during challenging times.
